Hi, I have looket at djangoBB for a couple of hours. I consider my self as a “smart” newbee as in programming python.

Until now I have managed to :
make
  • users
  • groups
  • categories
  • forums

I have managed to split up view so members and guest cant see “category” Hidden(admingroup)

My problem now, is I also made a public, that Im gonna use so everybody/all internetusers can read, but not write too.
Did I something wrong or is it some kind of default setting where I can tell app that : If not logged in you can read public.

inn advance thank you for a nice looking app

Ok,
Thanks for youre reply

my problem was that users did not see my public forums, but when I read youre post I figured out that maby that was my problem, I did mark my public forum on guest (usergroup). and then only members in that group saw that category/forum. I tried to make a new public category now whithout markeing any groups. And now I can see the forum. my bad, sorry for that. Maby I shouldnt consider me as a smart newbie after all hehe

again thanks!
