hello djangobb friend,

i am running Djangobb parallel to Satchmo.
if i do run Satchmo alone, MEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(DIRNAME, 'static/') is just fine. But if i do install Djangobb my Satchmo App is always trying to look for static e.g. CSS-files in /partofurl/css/style.css
but its located in /static/css/style.css.

how does Djangobb change my MEDIA_ROOT for Satchmo?
If i use Djangobb forum it looks up static content correctly at /static/forum/...
If i use Satchmo stand alone its looking up at /static/css/style.css etc. as well. perfectly!
Only when i do use Djangobb parallel to Satchmo, Satchmo is not finding its static files.

MEDIA_ROOT in settings.py is correctly set to MEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(DIRNAME, 'static/')
i have no idea what could cause that annoying problem.
I have investigated already 2 days in that issue.

Appreciate your response
best greetings and thank you

ps.: i have attached my settings.py file which at the end includes local_settings.py as well.

hm, check MEDIA_URL variable at templates
you tested at dev server?
slav0nic
ah, you have two TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS at config, merge them )
+if not hasattr(globals(), 'SECRET_KEY'): section not necessarily

That solved the problem: (merging the TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS into one).
I was stuck on that problem for 4 days or more i guess. And now its working like a charm.

Thank you so much slav0nic!
best greetings
