DjangoBB

Usually, people will want to be subscribed to topics they create or reply on. Clicking "Subscribe" is something that is easily forgotten, this extra step shouldn't be necessary. This doesn't need to be a heavyweight solution like in phpBB, something like that will suffice:

• When creating a topic or replying on a topic the user isn't yet subscribed to there should be a checkbox "Notify me about replies".
• By default this checkbox should be checked and will add the subscription when the reply is posted.
• If the user unchecks this checkbox his preference changes and in future this checkbox won't be pre-checked.
• If the checkbox wasn't pre-checked but the user checked it this changes his preference as well, in future the checkbox should be pre-checked again.
